About the event
Hands-on multiple day grouse hunting clinic with Dennis Stachewicz, owner of Aspen Thicket Grouse Dogs.
Topics include:
- Habitat Identification including habitat field trip
- How to find and scout areas to hunt
- Shooting techniques for grouse hunting - hunting loads, how to practice, and clay shoot
- Dog handling for grouse hunting - hands on at Aspen Thicket and in the woods
- Canine Emergency First-Aid when traveling - how to use staplers and other equipment to stabilize a dog
Clinic is limited to 5 participants due to the desire to provide maximum attention to each participant in a small group setting.
Lodging is available at nearby campgrounds, local motel, or via VRBO.
Cost: $350 per participant.
